Telstra x Samsung — 2025 Galaxy Launch with Telstra Frontline

Prepping the frontline
for success

Project overview—

New tech, new offers, and sometimes new staff. When a suite of new products hits the market, how do you get everyone on the same page? For the 2025 Galaxy launch, Samsung and Telstra needed a clear, engaging way to introduce the latest Galaxy lineup to frontline teams immediately following the global Galaxy Unpacked event.

Project approach—

Working closely with executive product managers and representatives from both Samsung and Telstra, I developed the narrative and script for a Telstra Frontline presentation and launch video designed to brief retail and business teams across the organisation. There were several variables to consider.

On the Samsung side

  • An executive introduction covering the Samsung-Telstra partnership

  • Product-specific positioning and specs on Galaxy Fold 6, Galaxy Flip 6, the Galaxy Watch range, and the Galaxy Buds

  • Promotional offers and talk-track pointers on the full range

On the Telstra side

  • The importance of the Telstra-Samsung partnership

  • The ‘Why Telstra’ value—Telstra’s network coverage, the Telstra Plus rewards program

  • What and how to drive adoption of the new products from pre-order onwards

Most importantly, the script and final content needed to be flexible in its design, to support the three or more audiences it would be presented to: in-store staff, business teams, and others.

Project delivery—

The project began with a draft outline from Samsung and Telstra detailing the key product features, launch messaging and retail offers. From here, the process involved:

Keeping it modular

Instead of writing multiple scripts, and recording multiple full-length versions, I wrote a base script and swapped in/out the components that varied. These were edited into the final deliverables.

Aligning on the content

The script went through several review rounds with Samsung product managers and Telstra stakeholders to refine messaging, simplify technical details and ensure alignment across both brands.

Coaching in the studio

During recording, I worked with Samsung executives and an amazing Telstra retail team mamber. I coached them on pacing and tone, ensuring the messaging remained clear, engaging and natural, while allowing them to feel confident throughout.

Rolling out for launch

With recording and editing complete, the final presentation assets were assembled, individual presentations created, and client sign-off secured in time for rollout to Telstra frontline teams following Galaxy Unpacked.

Project results—

The final presentation was successfully delivered as part of the Galaxy launch rollout to relevant frontline teams at Telstra.

The flexible approach and structure of the script allowed for streamlined production, and partnering with a true Telstra team member kept the content relatable and approachable to the audience.

  • The key benefits of the new Galaxy devices

  • How Galaxy AI enhances the customer experience

  • How to communicate pre-order incentives and ecosystem bundles to customers
